HEFMA has opened the nomination process for its 2022 awards. These prestigious awards will recognise the hard work and achievements of staff and teams working within NHS Estates and Facilities Management from across the UK over the past year.

Entries are invited across six award categories:

• Efficiency & Improvement Award

• People Development Award

• Personal Development Award

• Project of the Year Award

• Leader of the Year Award

• Team of the Year Award

The entry process has been improved and simplified once again. This year when nominating you will need to answer the key questions the judges have set. You will still be able to include support documents and other information. Click here to be redirected to the nomination form to begin the process.

The award winners will be announced at the Gala dinner during the 2022 Leadership Forum at the DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes on Thursday, May 12.

This is a great opportunity for Trusts to recognise and reward their hard-working E&F staff for their effort, achievements, ideas and innovation, no matter how junior - or senior - their role.

It is morale-boosting for anyone to receive an award and national recognition from their peers - even to be nominated is a significant achievement. Entering these awards is also an opportunity for Trusts to share their good ideas with other NHS organisations, continue to raise the profile of E&F roles within the NHS to help with staff recruitment and to promote the organisation in their local area to patients and the wider community.

Anyone can make a nomination, so please start thinking about the people you work with who may deserve this national recognition. If you can't decide on one individual or team, let the judges decide - multiple nominations from one Trust are allowed.

The deadline for entries has been extended to March 14, 2022, but don't delay, start the process today. Click here to be redirected.
