Evoca UK, part of the international Evoca Group, which is based in Italy, has responded to an urgent appeal for coffee machines from the NHS by delivering 60 of its Flexy Nespresso capsule machines to University College London Hospitals and the Royal London & St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
“We considered the potential of all our products in terms of how they could contribute to the wellbeing of NHS,” says Evoca UK Sales Director Craig Jukes. “The issue with the majority of our machines, in this context, is that they would need to be set up on site by a professional and we were informed when we responded to the appeal that having installation engineers on site was not an option.
“The Flexy Nespresso is ideal for the task in hand. Because it uses capsules it’s the coffee machine equivalent of ‘plug and play’. It’s simple to install, to use and to keep clean and germ-free, which is obviously vitally important when you consider the environments in which they’ll be used.”
The donation has been warmly welcomed by Prof. Marcel Levi MD PhD FRCP, Chief Executive of University College Hospitals London. “This is absolutely fantastic,” he wrote. “I am 100% sure our staff will absolutely love this as it is very useful in stressful times and during night shifts as well.”
