NHS Digital has released the results from the 2019 Patient-Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) Programme. As the collection has been substantially reviewed and refined since publication of the 2018 results, the 2019 scores establish a new baseline and cannot be compared with figures from previous years.
The question set has been significantly refined and revised, and guidance documents have been updated. The review ensures that the collection remains relevant and delivers its aims.
This year, the results include an experimental interactive report which allows users to explore the underlying data in a variety of ways. NHS Digital welcomes suggestions and feedback on this product.
1,144 assessments were undertaken in 2019 compared to 1,198 in the previous reporting year.
