The NHS South East Region is hosting a full-day, virtual event on July 10 as part of the UK’s Net Zero Week (July 5 – 11). Open to staff across the NHS, this is a national webinar that will highlight how broad and relevant sustainability is, and how it impacts every area of the NHS, from clinical care to estates, finance, digital, workforce and beyond.

This is a flexible event, featuring a programme of 30-minute sessions so staff can drop in and out of topics based on interests and availability. It will feature a range of speakers offering different perspective on issues – from national leaders to frontline staff and innovators. Staff attending will be able to take learning away with them to apply in their own roles – from real-world case studies from within the NHS and partner organisations, to practical examples of staff engagement, low-carbon care models and what actions actually make a difference. Expert sessions will focus on estates decarbonisation, clinical transformation and green funding opportunities.

Net Zero Week is a national awareness event and significant net zero conference. Its free-to-attend webinar programme will see experts sharing insight and commentary across key themes of Energy & Carbon (July 8), Transport (July 9) and Energy Infrastructure (July 10).
