Bidfood is inviting hospitals, hospices and care homes to nominate dedicated individuals from their catering teams who will be working on Christmas Day or Boxing Day this year (and/or worked last year) to be entered into its award-winning Christmas Gift campaign.

This campaign recognises the commitment made by staff who consistently go above and beyond to make Christmas a special time for thousands of others – which often means sacrificing their own family time.

Bidfood wants to give the gift of quality time for those involved with the preparation or serving of food so they can celebrate with their families after the Christmas season is over. Each winner will enjoy dinner at a restaurant of their choosing with their family, and a surprise Christmas Gift.

The care sector is one of four categories to feature for this award and one winner will be selected from each and announced on Monday, December 2.

The winners will be judged and selected by a panel of leading industry influencers - including Bidfood’s Group Sales & Marketing Director, Andy Kemp; Anne Pierce, Chief Executive at Springboard; the COO at UK Hospitality, Jackie Marlow; Lindsay Boswell, Chief Executive at FareShare; Jeremy Gibson, Marketing Director at Hospitality Action and Andy Jones, Chair of PS100 to name a few.

Entries are now open on the Bidfood website and will close at midnight on Monday, November 15.
