Inspection visit took place on March 1.

This was an unannounced focused inspection of the emergency department following the ‘Resilience 5 Plus’ process. The service was last inspected in March 2020 and rated Requires Improvement, with conditions imposed on the emergency department. Improvements have been made and those conditions have now been lifted, raising the emergency department’s rating from Inadequate in the key question of safe to Requires Improvement.
