Inspection visits took place on May 25, 2021.

This was an unannounced focused inspection of medical care because at the last inspection the key question of ‘is the service safe’ was rated as inadequate. Information was also received that gave cause for concern about the safety and quality of services. 

The rating of safe has now moved to requires improvement. Overall the hospital was not re-rated at this inspection and the previous rating of requires improvement remains.
