Inspection visit took place on November 16-18.

This was an unannounced focused inspection following the receipt of information of concern relating to the culture in surgery and anaesthetics division that suggested patients were not being safely discharged from care in the medical care division. As a focused inspection the rating for the Trust overall stayed the same. The rating for surgery went down because safe and well led were rated as requires improvement.
