The inspection visit took place from March 3rd - 5th 2020. This inspection was already underway when inspections were suspended because of the pandemic, so the well-led inspection was not completed.

Hull Royal Infirmary provides a range of acute services to residents of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, as well as specialist services to North Yorkshire, North and North East Lincolnshire. It is a major trauma centre for the region and provides care for children and young people as well as the Women and Children’s Hospital and the Eye Hospital.
