Inspection visit took place on March 30.

This was a focused inspection of urgent and emergency care services as part of the winter pressures programme. The performance of the department and the wider Trust was considered in relation to timely patient flow and waiting times for patients. The inspectors were also concerned with delayed and lengthy turnaround times for ambulance crews.

Previous ratings were not all updated, but the rating for urgent and emergency care for safe and overall went down to Requires Improvement.
