Letter to National Council and Members

A short letter to all members from Nigel Myhill

Dear All

On my last day as your National Chair, I would like to write to thank all National Officers, Branch Officers and members for all the help and support that they have given to me over the last 16 months of my tenureship. I think it’s important the members recognise the amount of time and effort that these Officers put in above and beyond their normal day job. Particularly, I would like to highlight the National Secretary Alison McCree who works tirelessly for the Association and its members.

It is with some sadness that I leave the Association mid-term but unfortunately leaving the UK to work in Australia would make continuing in the role extremely difficult. I hope I leave the Association in some small way better for my successors and the membership as a whole, I know whoever is selected as the next National Chair will have a great network of National and Branch officers to support them.

I would like to wish the Association, its members and officers all the success in the future and I will keep in touch via the HefmA website and electronic copies of Pulse.

Yours faithfully

Nigel Myhill
National Chair
