HefmA Awards 2014 – Winners Revealed!


[h5]As always the first day of the HefmA National Conference and Exhibition culminated in the prestigious Gala Awards Presentation Dinner which recognised and celebrated the winners of the 2014 HefmA Awards. This year we received a plethora of nominations for the awards, a testament to the dedication, performance and ingenuity of our members over the last 12 months.[/h5]



[h5]Special Recognition Award:[/h5]This award is given to an individual in recognition of their contribution to the development of the workforce, service improvement, innovation and defining technical measurable standards across Facilities Management.
Winner: David Bedwell

 

 

 

 

[h5]Facilities Manager of the Year:[/h5] This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding personal achievement and performance in delivering facilities services that are highly regarded by service users.

Winner: Yvonne Fortt, NHS Property Services

 

 

 

 

[h5]Project Manager of the Year:[/h5] This award will be presented to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding personal achievement in delivering a project which has led to improving patient and staff experience.

Winner: Jug Johal, Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS FT

 

 

 

 

[h5]Training Initiative of the Year:[/h5] This award recognises a team or individual working in the NHS who has demonstrated significant improvement in their services through learning and development initiatives.

Winner: Greater Manchester Facilities Team, NHS Property Services

 

 

 

 

[h5]Team of the Year:[/h5] This award recognises a team working within NHS estates and facilities management who demonstrates they have constantly delivered excellent services to their patients, staff and visitors.

Winner: Jug Johal, Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS FT

 

 

 

 

[h5]Estates Manager of the Year:[/h5] This Award is given to an individual working in the NHS who has demonstrated outstanding personal achievement and performance in delivering estates services that are highly regarded by service users.

Winner: Malcolm Aiston, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS FT

 

 



[h5]Outstanding Service Award:[/h5] This award is presented to an outstanding professional who has contributed significantly to the Estates and Facilities profession.  We were looking for an individual that has given many years of dedicated service to the Estates and Facilities profession as well as being pro-active within the Association and the recipient of this award has done just that.

Winner: Tim Litherland
