FMs get new guide to vendor relationships

A US-based company has published a new digital guide to enable healthcare facility managers to maximise their vendor relationships and reach goals set in their development programmes.

A US-based company has published a new digital guide to enable healthcare facility managers to maximise their vendor relationships and reach goals set in their development programmes.

Brenneco Fire Protection says it created the 22-page digital guide, “Health Care Facility Managers: How to maximize vendor relationships to reach goals,” because “health care facilities play a larger role than ever in the overall success of their institutions making vendor relationships more important than ever”.

“Health care facility managers can download the digital guide to help them evaluate and retain valuable vendor relationships. We gathered viewpoints from service providers in a variety of industries to help us develop this free guide. As a vendor partner to our clients, sometimes we offer guidance on more than fire protection. This publication is a case in point,” the company said.

Over the past decade, Brenneco owner Eric Flora says he has seen the role of the facilitymanager change across multiple industries, but none so much as in healthcare. Facility managers working in hospitals, assisted living facilities and other healthcare venues are playing more critical roles and are fulfilling more demanding responsibilities than they were just a few years ago.

“We gathered viewpoints from service providers in a variety of industries to help us develop this free guide. As a vendor partner to our clients, sometimes we offer guidance on more than fire protection. This publication is a case in point,” Flora said.

What’s Inside the “Healthcare Facility Managers” guide:

  • A New Era of Healthcare Facilities Management
  • Quality and performance goals for facility managers
  • 8 Search tactics to find a trusted vendor
  • How vendors can help you reach your goals (fire protection services, electrical, plumbing HVAC, landscaping, commercial insurance, labour, suppliers)
  • Five best practices for ongoing evaluation
  • Bottom line for healthcare facility managers

Facility managers can also download a digital form to help them evaluate and retain valuable vendor relationships. The “Health Care Vendor CommunicationsChecklist” is also free. The guide and checklist are available at http://brennecofp.com/health-care-fire-protection. - PRWeb
