Ambulance Service directors quit

The East of England Ambulance Service will appoint new interim directors following the resignation of all five of its non-executive directors.

Vice chairman Paul Remington, Phil Barlow, Anne Osborn, Margaret Stockham and Caroline Bailes stepped down last month in the face of “a damning report into the management of the NHS Trust”, according to EDP24.co.uk. These events follow shortly after Geoff Harris took up the pot of new interim chairman of the Trust when Maria Ball handed in her resignation.

A spokesman for the NHS Trust Development Authority, said: “The recruitment process for appointing non-executive directors is being managed by the NHS TDA, and we are working with the trust to identify interim support arrangements for the board while this process is underway. We hope to secure the availability of suitable candidates as soon as possible.”
